Description:
On 28-07-2026, a Poster Making Competition on the theme “National Festivals” was conducted for students of Grades 6, 7, and 8. The activity was organized under the guidance of Triveni Madam, who served as the in-charge of the competition. Students enthusiastically created colourful and meaningful posters depicting the importance of India’s national festivals, patriotism, unity, and cultural heritage. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their artistic talent, creativity, and awareness of national values while promoting self-expression and appreciation of the country’s rich traditions.

Activity: Skill-Based Practical Class on Handling Stress While Giving First Aid
Description:
A skill-based practical class on Handling Stress While Giving First Aid was conducted for the students on 18-07-2026 (Saturday) from 1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. The session focused on helping students remain calm, think clearly, and act confidently during emergency situations. They learned practical techniques to manage stress, communicate effectively, and provide first aid safely without panicking. The activity enhanced students’ confidence, decision-making skills, and preparedness to respond responsibly during emergencies. The session was conducted under the guidance of Sanjeev Sir, who served as the Incharge.

Topic: The Spirit of Kargil – Courage Beyond Duty
Description:
An Essay Writing Competition was conducted for Grade 7 students on the topic “The Spirit of Kargil – Courage Beyond Duty” under the guidance of Mrs. Divya, the teacher in-charge. Students enthusiastically participated and expressed their thoughts on the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the brave soldiers who fought in the Kargil War. The competition helped students improve their essay writing skills, critical thinking, and creativity while fostering a deep sense of patriotism, respect, and gratitude towards the nation’s heroes.
An English Newspaper Activity was conducted on 18-07-2026 to improve students’ vocabulary and grammar skills. Students read newspaper articles and identified new words, learned their meanings, and enhanced their vocabulary. They also identified nouns and verbs from the articles to strengthen their understanding of grammar. In addition, students solved word puzzles, making the learning process enjoyable and interactive. The activity encouraged reading habits, language development, and critical thinking.
A skill-based class on Types of Snakes and Snake Bite Awareness was conducted on 18-07-2026. The session was handled by Seenu Sir, who explained the different types of snakes, how to identify venomous and non-venomous snakes, and the precautions to take when encountering snakes. Students also learned the correct first-aid measures for snake bites and the importance of seeking immediate medical assistance. The class enhanced students’ awareness and equipped them with essential safety knowledge.
A Kannada Handwriting Competition was conducted on 14-07-2026 to encourage students to improve their handwriting, neatness, and presentation skills in the Kannada language. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, and the students displayed their writing abilities with great interest and dedication. The event was conducted under the guidance of the teacher in-charges, Mrs. Jayalaxmi Madam, Mr. Chandrappa Sir, and Mrs. Divya Madam.
A value-based theory class on Creativity was conducted to help students understand the importance of creative thinking in everyday life. Students learned the value of imagination, innovation, and problem-solving through creative thinking. They were encouraged to express their ideas confidently and apply creativity in their learning and daily life. The session was conducted by Mrs. Suhasini.
A value-based theory class on Unity and Integrity was conducted for Grade 6. Students learned the importance of staying united, respecting one another, and being honest and responsible in their words and actions. The session emphasized teamwork, mutual respect, national unity, and the role of integrity in building strong character. The class was conducted by Chandrappa Sir.

Description:
A skill-based theory class on Cat Bite and Dog Bite was conducted for Grade 7 by Seenu Sir. The session focused on creating awareness about first aid and safety measures related to animal bites. Students learned the immediate steps to take after a cat or dog bite, including washing the wound thoroughly with soap and running water, informing a responsible adult, and seeking medical attention promptly. The importance of preventing animal bites and seeking timely medical care was also discussed.

Value based theory class
Students spoke about how unity is the foundation of a strong nation and emphasized that people of different religions, languages, and cultures must live together in harmony. Many participants highlighted examples from India’s freedom struggle to show how unity played a key role in achieving independence. The speeches also conveyed that unity helps in overcoming challenges and building a peaceful and progressive society. Overall, the topic inspired students to develop patriotic values and understand the importance of togetherness.
The Art Club conducted a Gond Art activity on 19 February 2026. Students were introduced to the traditional tribal art form of Gond painting and learned about its unique patterns, use of dots and lines, and cultural significance. The participants actively engaged in creating colourful Gond artworks, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm
The Hindi Slogan Writing Competition at Sainik School Bidar was conducted successfully, encouraging cadets to express their thoughts with creativity and patriotism. Participants presented impactful slogans reflecting discipline, unity, responsibility, and love for the nation.

The Intra-House Volleyball Competition was successfully organized among the four houses of our school with great enthusiasm and team spirit.
The thrilling final match was played between Suryakirti House (Red House) and Vidyasagar House (Blue House). After an intense and competitive game, Suryakirti House (Red House) emerged victorious and won the championship.
The match showcased excellent sportsmanship, coordination, and determination from both teams. Congratulations to the winners and appreciation to all participants for making the event a grand success.
Sainik School Bidar conducted a Picture Perception and Story Writing Competition to develop students’ creativity, observation skills, and imaginative thinking. Participants analyzed the given picture and expressed their ideas through well-structured and engaging stories.
